Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
  • Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.
