Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips optional

Glaze (Optional):

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Bundt pan generously.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Add sour cream and stir until smooth.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Once cool, whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cake.
