- 500 g bread flour
- 100 g active sourdough starter
- 10 g salt
- 300 g water
- 30 g melted butter or olive oil
Mix bread flour and water; let sit for 45 minutes.
Add sourdough starter and salt; knead until smooth.
Bulk rise 4-6 hours, folding every 45 minutes.
Shape into a loaf, place in loaf pan, and proof until doubled.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake 40-45 minutes.
Cool completely before slicing.
