- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
Pour batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag. Pipe small dollops into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
