- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar plus extra for coating
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts almonds, pecans, or walnuts
- A pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and salt. Gradually mix in the flour until combined.
Stir in the finely chopped nuts.
Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
Allow to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar. Repeat when fully cooled.
