Mix Dry Stuff: First, in a big bowl, mix together your flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Add Wet Stuff: In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla together until it’s all frothy. Then, pour this into your bowl of dry ingredients. Stir it up!
Butter Time: Now, take your cooled, melted butter and gently mix it into your batter until everything is just combined.
Chill: Put your batter in the fridge for a little bit, about 1 hour. This helps make your Madeleines super tasty.
Get Ready to Bake: While your batter is chilling, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If you have a Madeleine pan, great! If not, a mini muffin pan works too. Just make sure to grease it so your cakes don’t stick.
Bake: Spoon your chilled batter into the pan, filling each little mold about 3/4 full.
Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until they’re puffed up and golden.
Cool and Dust: Let them cool a bit, then pop them out of the pan. If you’re feeling fancy, dust them with powdered sugar.
