- 15 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 10 tablespoons of sugar
- 5 eggs
Start by using a mixer to beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add the egg yolks one at a time and beat again at maximum power for about 5 minutes.
Gradually add the sugar and cornstarch, alternating between them. Continue beating until you have a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Next, pour the batter into a pre-greased and floured pan. Bake in a preheated oven 356 °F (180ºC) for about 40 minutes.
After the time is up, turn off the oven, remove the cake from the oven, take it out of the pan, and it’s ready to serve.
