- 1 lb fresh crab meat blue crab preferred
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 carrots diced
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 2 cups green beans
- 6 cups seafood or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Heat oil in a large pot, sauté onions, celery, and carrots until softened.
Add tomatoes, corn, green beans, and broth. Bring to a boil.
Stir in Old Bay, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf.
Simmer for 30 minutes, then add crab meat.
Cook for another 10 minutes, season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot with crusty bread or crackers.
